From the Big Blue Bear to the Denver Center of the Performing Arts and all the way to Union Station, you’ll learn about what makes Denver the vibrant city it is today and do it all in an hour! Perfect for those short on time and the tour is earlier in the morning to beat that summer heat! Great if you’re visiting during a convention or just want to learn more about the city.

What to Expect
You’ll meet your experience creator (aka local guide) at Big Blue Bear at the Convention Center. Over the next hour and 1.2 miles you’ll see find out the Colorado Convention Center, the old Bell Telephone Company Buildings and murals by a famous local muralist. We will pass through the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, see the “Aliens”, go through Denver’s oldest and most beautiful block and learn its history as well who built it and who saved it, the last stagecoach stop, here a rags to riches story, stop by Rockmount Ranchwear, then the Oxford Hotel and finish at the Iconic Union Station and learn how it turned Denver from a dusty watering hole, into the bustling city it is today.
Your local guide is here to help you make the most out of your time in Denver so don’t hesitate to ask any questions like, “what was the name of that great Tapas place you mentioned?”

+ Is the walking tour still held in bad weather?
Rain, snow, or shine our tours take place everyday of the week. Good thing Denver experiences over 300 days of sunshine. Just be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately. In cases of extreme weather, please check your texts or emails for cancellation announcements.
+ Start/End Location and Parking
Start Location: We will meet at the Big Blue Bear at the Convention Center HERE for directions. Address is 700 14th St, Denver, CO 80202
- End Location: Union Station is about 1.2 miles away from the starting point.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled tour start time so your guide can check you in and give you equipment.

For Parking
There is lots of parking near the Convention Center, but we would recommend using the app "SpotHero", it will help you find the cheapest, most available parking and give you directions right to it, you can also easily top up your time remotely if you wish.
+ What happens if I'm late?
The tour starts promptly at scheduled time. We ask that your party arrives 10 - 15 minutes prior to start time to check in and ensure the tour doesn't start without you. We start on time to ensure a quality experience for those that are on time. We can try to guide you to where the tour will be, however there is no refund once the tour has started.
